  • Dee Isaacs

    Dee Isaacs is a musician, composer, and academic whose work connects music composition with social impact. Her action research emphasizes the transformative role of the creative arts in marginalized and displaced communities. As a composer, she investigates the intersections of music with language, memory, identity, space, and landscape, creating works that engage deeply with social and cultural narratives. Her compositions often stem from cross-disciplinary collaborations and are rooted in pedagogy and participatory arts practices.

  • Dr. Amalia Giannoutsou

    Dr. Amalia Giannoutsou is a researcher, educator, and pedagogical assessor specialising in differentiated learning strategies at the Ralleios Experimental Schools of Athens University. She holds a PhD in Education from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (Department of Corporeal Expression, Visual Arts, and Music Education). Her dissertation, developed within the context of a community-theatre project with migrant adolescents, drew on the politics of emotion and decolonial pedagogies, focusing on how the participants navigated identity and produced counter-narratives through storytelling. 

  • Nina Toumazatou

    Nina Toumazatou is an educator and theater practitioner based in Athens, Greece. She is currently  working as a teacher in public primary education, teaching immigrant and refugee children who are learning Greek as a new language. She has previously worked as an educator in refugee camps and continues to explore inclusive and creative approaches to language learning through art. Her work often bridges education and performance, and she has participated in the Windows on the World project both as an assistant and as a performer. She is particularly interested in puppet and shadow theater, storytelling, and the ways in which these forms can foster communication, imagination, and belonging.

  • ROELA ???

    Roela is an experienced educator and community engagement professional with a strong background in supporting children and youth in refugee settings. Over the years, she has designed and implemented educational programs, led creative and non-formal learning activities, and promoted social integration, empowerment, and well-being for diverse learner groups. Her work spans teaching languages, coordinating psychosocial and cultural activities, mentoring peers, and fostering inclusive learning environments. At Windows on the World, she brings her expertise to help children express themselves, build social bonds, gain confidence, and experience the joy of music and creative arts in a supportive community.

  • Pepi ???

    Pepi is a primary education specialist, with 27 years experience. Since 2018, she has been working at Ritsona Camp under the Ministry of Migration and Asylum. Her new position is Refugee Education Coordinator for the 1st Region of Athens Refugee Education.

    Pepi has been a volunteer consultant for WOTW since it became active in Ritsona in 2021. She has been incredibly influential in helping coordinate activities in the camp.

    She strongly advocates for the rights of refugee children.
